Dr. Dragos A. Nita is a pediatric Neurologist with additional expertise in epilepsy, electroencephalography (EEG), and brain injuries.
Dr. Nita trained in Neurology at the University of Toronto and subsequently completed a clinical fellowship in Epilepsy at The Hospital for Sick Children. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada and is certified in EEG by the Canadian Society of Clinical Neurophysiologists. Dr. Nita also holds a PhD in Neuroscience with a specific focus on brain injury from Laval University in Quebec. He is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Academy of Neurology, American Epilepsy Society, American Clinical Neurophysiology Society and the Canadian Neurological Sciences Federation.
Dr. Nita is a Consultant Neurologist for the North York General Hospital and is involved in the education of medical students and residents through the University of Toronto.
His research interests include epilepsy, brain injury and neurophysiology.
