Pediatric Neurologist
Dr. Johnson is a pediatric neurologist with additional expertise in epilepsy, electroencephalography (EEG), and genetic causes of neurologic disease.
Dr. Johnson trained in neurology at Boston Children’s Hospital (Harvard Medical School) where he also completed fellowships in Clinical Neurophysiology and Epilepsy Genetics. He is certified in Neurology with Special Qualifications in Child Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Johnson also holds a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of California-San Francisco (UCSF) where he studied basic mechanisms of synapse development. More recently, he has done research in epilepsy genetics, invasive EEG data analysis, and epilepsy drug development. He is a member of various professional organizations, including the American Academy of Neurology, Child Neurology Society, American Epilepsy Society, and American Clinical Neurophysiology Society.
