Katie Armstrong is a registered social worker who provides services and supports to children, youth, and their caregivers, within the field of Epilepsy. Katie uses a strengths based approach to assist individuals in seizure education, self-management, and the development of strategies to increase one’s quality of life. Katie also provides access to resources, community engagement and support within the epilepsy community.

Katie received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, NS, and her Masters of Social Work from University of Toronto, where she specialized in working with children and families. After completing her studies, Katie worked for several years in London, England within the Autism field, before returning to Toronto and joining the Epilepsy community.
